It can't be done with any technology consistent with the current understanding of science. That leaves magic. Any technology sufficiently advanced beyond our understanding is a good working definition of magic. The minimum possible time to travel 36 light years would be just a little more than 36 years.

There are things called worm holes that could connect to locations far apart. The science we understand allows for the existence of worm holes but they collapse when any material item tries to traverse them.

There are only theories about how to "move faster than light"
1) You can wrinkle space (like folding a piece of paper, then traveling through it) and you end up physically farther away than you could have traveled in the time allotted.
2) Your can create what have been called "wormholes" which are artificial tunnels through space that actually are shorter than the distance you will have traveled when you leave them
3) In actuality from what we know you cannot travel 36 light-years in under 36 years because as you approach the speed of light your mass increases and the energy needed to accelerate you becomes greater - when you finally reach the speed of light you will have the mass of the whole universe which is impossible, therefore we cannot travel at the speed of light.

If you check EBay listings under warp drives you can occasionally find a bargain. Sometimes when the Federation changes out some of the old drives, they sell them almost at scrap metal prices.
If not, check with Sulu or Chekov, they know some dealers on Stratius 3 that can definitely hook you up, but the shipping is kind of pricey unless you use Federation Next Light Year Express.

No one has any idea yet on how to get to the speed of light, let alone going at 36 times the speed of light.

none that anyone knows of traveling 3 times the speed of light is not engineeringly feasible at this time what IS possible is to travel 36 light years in 37 years, and not age 37 years

Something capable of bending the fabric of time and space. We now know that the early universe expanded vastly faster than the speed of light, so perhaps you need something that will reach a temperature of above 100,000 degrees, or some other such thing that hasn't been invented yet... at least not by mere humans.

Their is no Human feat that would let us travel that fast, it is impossible to travel faster than the speed of light. It is and always will be faster than you.

No such technology exists, nor is there any reason to imagine that it ever will. So go out and meet some friends, have some fun, and enjoy life as it is.

The only way that can be done is by generating a worm hole. We don't havea clue how to do it but it would require more energy than we could produce in a life time.

None that exist, or can ever exist in theory.

You can, however, travel infinite distances with your imagination. . .
