Try to attend summer camps. Play in as much leagues as possible. You must learn the game. What your question states is pretty much conditioning. For the shooting part you can go to a summer camp they can tell you how to perfect it. As for getting faster, try to run and practice sprints. Do toe raises for jumping skills.

Practice all types of shots... if your a big guy, that's taller than everyone, just take shots from 4 to 14 feet away till you perfect it.... Speed just run, Sprints, Lunges, Plyometrics are very effective, Jumping skills, go to some stairs and jump up and down from the ground to the first step to increase Calf Strength and Quad strength too... good luck!

obviously you need to practice in order to get better. most of the power in your shots come from bending your legs. dont worry about getting a spin on the ball. next, do layups, which isgoing up and down the court putting a sharp stop at the end of the court, and going back. do this in a straight line. spend some time trying to jump as high AND far as you can. be sure to put alot of leg power. i am VERY good at basketball. Hope it helped!

If your not doing so already, you have to eat right. A lot of candy and junk food will only weigh you down. Endurance training is also important. You can jog or just play lots and LOTS of pick up games to improve your stamina. You can also strength train with weights if your old enough. Last but not least, buy one of those basketball instructional videos, and practice the techniques everyday!

But if your Allen Iverson, then "We talking bout practice, not a game, not a game, we talking bout practice" haha the only way to get better is to keep trying and practicing. Also, a good thing to do is to rent a video like that Magic's fundamentals dvd. If you want to jump higher then purchase strength shoes they work great.

Practice every single day. You should also do interval runs 3 times a week to get your stamina to a good level. If you want to jump higher, I suggest that when you do leg exercises, focus on squats and calve raises.

work on your lateral quickness and ball handling(dribbling, passing) skills. When you are able to handle the ball well, it opens up everything else you do, including shooting.
