USA Allegiance? Do you mean the Pledge of Allegiance?
Analyze it: I Pledge allegiance= I with all my heart and sould agree to support, and defend.
To the flag: The symbol of our country. Of The United States of America: The name of our country.
And to the Republic for which it stands (further describes the flag)
One nation, an independant nation
Under God: recognition of the great deity
Indivisable: cannot be broken apart.
With liberty and justice for all: Freedom and equal treatment under the law for everyone.

It stands for a utopia that our nation's fathers invisioned, where everyone could actually stand together, unified, strong, under the protection and power of God. It is the greatest dream, the most fantastic thing any nation could ever aspire to. It stands for power, for peace, for liberty, for justice, for unity and for a nation that once had great potential.
Unfortunately, it has been totally disregarded, until it has become a meaningless chant dully grumbled through at school assemblies--and sometimes not even then. It is something that soldiers and families and patriotic Americans hold dear, because it is something that they fight to protect. It is something other nation's envy, and wish they could have for themselves.
The Pledge of Allegiance (what I assume you meant) to the flag of the United States of America is and always has been a great and glorious thing--but a largely ignored one.

I would say that it means I am true and faithful to my country. To defend her at any cost. To be loyal and devoted to my country. I stand proud by our American flag. Just as I did as a youngster in elementary school. When it was not an object of political correctness to recite my pledge of allegiance to our flag and country every day. I think that if you live in this country you should pledge allegiance to it. If this pledge is denied, then you don't belong here.

The best example I could direct you to is a President who is willing to sacrifice His own Reputation and Legacy to do what He knows is right to Protect His Country.
And most of all for Brave Men and Women in Arms to face Peril to defend Passivist Vermin back home who make a feeble attempt at supporting the Troops while defending terrorism.

Allegiance to a country is different , than blindly following inept leadership , which brings about the demise of that country. And kills our sons and daughters.
