What is the Average weight of a 3 month old baby? And how much are they eatting?

Mine is 2 1/2 month old now, but at her 2 month checkup she was 12lbs 1oz. I think she'll probably be 13-13.5lbs at 3 months. Right now she is eating about 5oz of formula 5-6 times a day.

The weight of a 3 month old baby is dependant on a few factors. First, the size of the baby at birth is important. A baby who is 6lbs at birth vs a baby who is 10lbs at birth will vary greatly. Another factor is the sex of the baby.

According to the growth chart, 13 pounds is right at the 50th percentile for a 3 month old. Check out the link in my source; I really like the chart they have. I don't know about how much they're eating, sorry.

there is no average in babys that young my son was about 16 pounds at that age and took about 8 6 oz bottles a day if that helps any but my son was also 9 pounds when he was born

my son just turned 3 months and weighs 14 lbs....25 inches long...doc says not to worry...no wrong weight for babies...they don;t start worrying about the weight until 2 years

my son is 4mths and weighs 17lbs the dr used to be concerned about his weight the only thing i was giving him was breastmilk. and i just started giving him baby cereal and fruit and vegetables..so much fun because the mess gets all over them.But now she is okay with it because of his length which is 24in. she says he is going to be tall.
