Yes if the baby cooperates and shows it's parts. The other way to know is if you have to have an amnio for other reasons. They actually take DNA form the baby so it is the only "fool proof" answer

No that's when the docs can usally see, that's when my sister found when she was having her children and shes got 5 kids and they were always right about the sex of the baby.Good luck to you
