Can't possibly do with one song. A short playlist could be:
1. "Temple of Love", Sisters of Mercy and Ofra Haza;
2. "Ball and Chain", Social D.;
3. "Extreme Ways", Moby;
4. "The Ubiquitous Mr Lovegrove", Dead Can Dance;
5. "Reach Down", Temple of the Dog;

7. "No Rain", Blind Melon.
I'd also like to hear the original -season one- theme to Monk occasionally. And the audio tracks to all the episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
I think I could live with that.

Someday Never Comes by Credence Clearwater Revival. It's a good old classic rock song that sounds sadwhen you first hear it, but after catching all the lyrics, it's actually a pretty positive son.
