Question Details:So my friends started playing my least favorite sport, Badminton. Apparently, they love it, and I can't play because then there would be seven people. On top of that, my best friend, who doesn't go to my school, has started hanging out with his new friends. What should I do? We've been best friends ever since we were about 2. And I've been good friends with my school friends for five years. Any advice?

Okay, you have a couple of issues going on here. First the badminton. Why can't you play? Either you choose not to play because you hate it (or you say you hate it because you don't know how to play it), or you're being excluded. There is no reason that you and your friends can't alternate players. So let's evaluate the other scenarios.
Why do you say you hate badminton? Have you ever been trained in the sport? Have you really given it a chance? Maybe it will be more fun if you're playing with your friends, or once you get a chance to learn how to get good at it. Or maybe you really do hate it, but it will be worth it to you to play so that you can spend time with your friends.
Alternatively, perhaps your friends are saying only six kids can participate because they are intentionally excluding you. Why would that be? Have you done anything to merit such exclusion? If you can think of any reason, you should make amends. If not, this is probably not the reason.
As for your best friend who goes to another school, you have to realize that he needs to have close friendships there. You should be happy for him. I'm sure he wants you to have good friends at your school, too. You probably wouldn't be so sensitive to his budding friendships if you weren't feeling left out of the badminton crew. Have you let him know you're having a bit of trouble with your school friends? He might have no idea that you need the extra support. Perhaps you shoud give him a call and plan some time together over the next weekend. I'm sure you'll pick up right where you left off. Friendships like that don't die.

Hey if u like to play Badminton then u should ask the people very kindly that they could let u play. About Ur best friend that u have is u can hang out with Ur best friend when u have free time and if Ur friend come to school to visit then u can tell him to see him later after school. I hope this could be Ur right answer.

What don't you like about badmonton? You could suck it up, and begin to play, you may end up liking it.
Or you could turn a new leaf, and play a sport you enjoy doing. You'll meet other people who enjoy the same sport, and make new friends! Of course invite your friends to play with you too, don't leave them out!
There's a big world out there, don't be afraid of, embrace it :o)

You could maybe tell them how you feel. Or join a sport you like and find a couple other friends. I am not saying you need to lose your other friends, but gain a couple new ones, so you don't feel this way. Good Luck and I am sorry.

Just let it take its course sometimes you just find new people to hang out with, but that doesnt mean you best friend will stop being your best friend, its just you dont need to spend every minute of the day with 1 person.

Give everyone their space. Dont be clingy. It is good to make new friends, you should try it. Just because you make new friends or your current friends make new friends does not take away the friendship you already enjoy, it just adds new interesting people to the circle of friends.
