Of course they could. You have to remember that the Bulls defeated a team that was similar to the Lakers and that team was the Orlando Magic. Remember Penny Hardaway and Shaq?
Dennis Rodman was a great defender and if they had played the Lakers team that won 3 rings, Rodman would be defending Shaq and he would shut Shaq down again. Pippen would be defending Kobe. Pippen was one of the best defenders around and he was the guy that shut Magic Johnson down when the Bulls won their 1st title. No one on the Lakers would've been able to stop Michael Jordan in his prime. The Bulls would sweep the Lakers.

When the Bulls got Rodman, he was like the missing link. Between a team that had a good chance at winning the title and what it would become after he came. Which was one that would seal the deal. Rodman would of ate up the rebounds on Shaq. Shaq would of gotten his 20 points or so and maybe 5 or 6 boards. Longely was more of a passer who could get them a few points here and there. Scotty and Michael (I believe) were the best combo of at least My life time. Adding Rodman (even with all his bs) just made them next to unbeatable. Bulls in 6, maybe 5.

That would be interesting to see.... the Bulls were complete wherever you went, Jordan, Longley, Pippen, Rodman, Kucoach (however you spell it), but the lakers were pretty good too, Shaq, Kobe, Devan George, Fisher, Fox..... at the time they were a very good team... it would be hard to call and i hate to say it but i would say the lakers, because of shaq, they would have to put a double team on him with Longley and Rodman and he could kick it out to Any of his players and they would be dangerous.... Jordan and Kobe would be interesting to see though...

It would be a great series. Since LA had a healthier, more nimble Shaq(sorry, Rodman would be eaten up)i would say the Bulls only chance would be if they kept the Zen man for themselves.
