Peak oil/Global Warming?

Im new in this class of MODEL UNITED NATIONS.
I really dont know what to expect in a conference this weekend. My committee is peak oil and global warming, and i am representing the country of PAKISTAN. Can you answer any of the following questions:
Does anybody know Pakistan's position and policy on this topic, and what solution i should side with?

I already know that Pakistan is a party of the Kyoto Protocol. But what are the main points of the protocol? and What is the IPCC?

What countries should i side with when writing a resolution?

Any good ideas on speeches?

Have no idea of Pakistan's stand on the subject. If they are participating in Kyoto then that should answer the question.

Kyoto is mainly to get the USA, Japan and other rich nations to pay for pollution, even though China, one of the biggest polluters has to do nothing but pollute more.
