When I was five years old my father dumped me by the side of the road and drove off. Amazingly, the thing I felt most was embarrassment.

Well then:
The most 'horrific' time of my childhood occured between the ages of 6 and 11. During those times my real father was an alcoholic and beat my brother, my mother, and I when he got angry.
Also at school I never really fit in with the other kids, so I was rejected and that really depressed me.
The worst part of my life came in 1999 when my father shot my mother after an argument... that kinda made that year pretty horrible and teh suck. I ended up living w/ some relatives, and life hasn't really been too bad since- but my mother's death was pretty much the end of my childhood as I remember it. Those sorts of things snap you into the harsh reality of life pretty quickly...

I went to stay with my grandparents for two weeks in the summer like I did every summer, only this time when I came home I found that my mom and new step-dad-to-be had given away my dog. I'd only had the dog for less than a year and we just didn't have the time for him that he deserved. Regardless, I LOVED the dog and I cried for a week. I love my parents (step-dad included) but I will never forgive them for that. They were only trying to do what was best for the dog, but try telling that to a 9 year old. It still breaks my heart to this day and I'm almost thirty. It was just a real shady thing to do to a kid.

I was often raped as a child and got pregnant when i was just 12 years old. I got to hold my daughter for a very short time before she was ripped from my arms. she is 9 years old now and I have never seen her.
