In your experience, do boys suck their thumbs more than girls?

just curious, my 1yo son sucks his thumb.

my 4mth old son just recently started sticking his thumb in his mouth. which is really wierd because he has never done that before he likes to have his whole fist in his mouth though.

No. I haven't really ever met very many boys who suck their thumb. I know plenty of girls. One of them is a teenager. I think that girls find it comforting and boy think that it will ruin their manly-ness.
