I personally vote for Ryan Giggs, no one during his time has played better in that position thang Giggs. It's too bad that he can't be success on the national level cause he played for Wales.

i'm not sure but messi doesn't purely play on the left wing, he played attack midfield and forward as well

I agree with the Giggs assessment. I think the second best left midfielder is Joe Cole, who doesn't get nearly enough props for his relentless slashing attack.
