Why are you spending $100 to take the test?
I got a postal exam book from the library and scored a 99.1. You mainly need to test yourself on the memorization part. Many books give you tips on how to remember. For instance:
there are 5 boxes labeled A, B, C, D, and E.
In each box there are 5 addresses, for example in box A:
1.)1020-1050 Cassidy Ave
2.)1048-1061 Quiet Harbor Dr.
3.)1018-1021 Liberty St.
4.)1084-1099 Pocahontas Ln.
5.)1016-1032 Lexington Ct.

each box has variations of these addresses.
You have a while to study these and then the chart is taken away and you answer 80 multiple-choice questions like what was:
1.) A2?
a. 1016-1032 Lexington Ct
b. 1084-1099 Pocahontas Ln.
c. 1018-1021 Liberty St.
d. 1048-1061 Quiet Harbor Dr. (*this is the answer)
e. 1020-1050 Cassidy Ave
Without looking at the chart, it seems impossible. But for me, the key was to make the last two numbers and street names relate to a story in your life. For example, I would remember A3 by remembering that 18 is the legal age to smoke, 21 is the legal age to drink and "______ and justice for all," is the last line of the pledge of allegiance. You don't need ellaborate stories just something to keep them related and together in your head. Repeat the numbers in box A quietly til you memorize them without looking,(20/50, 48/61, 18/21, 84/99, 16/32...) then move on to box B. They give you a short time to study and test, but they give you I think about 2 practice tests til you take the real one. Try not to waste time- skip ones you have to think too hard for. Hope this helps some...it might be better just to check out the study books than my tips..I might not have articulated them as clear as they are in my head!

Also, the test addresses are simpler than this- but this is th best i could remember!

You can go to the library and get the books.

it consists of two parts,

Two columns. Does the address in column A match the address in column B.

It is a speed and accuracy test.

The second is a memorization test

You have five boxes with five addresses in them.

You memorize the address and you have to determine which address goves with which box.

I scored a 92 on the test with NO preferences

Even if it's hard, take the risk! You may surprise yourself.

Good luck!
