Whats happened is that i get my period on the wednesday of my green sugar pill. for some reason for the 1st time in 9 years i got my period 10 days early and have been bleeding for the last 6 days. I am on ortho tri-cyclen low. I do have unprotected sex with my live in boyfriend of over a year. Any insight would be great, this has never happened to me before and i have had a series of high stress situations in my life. ahhh im concerned.

As women get older, fluctuations in your hormone levels are normal, which can cause the irregularity of your period. High stress levels can also cause your hormones to go a little wacky. You can always go talk to your gynecologist if you are concerned.

Go to the Gyno... they may change the strength of your pill since your older now natural hormones may have changed or Chemical imbalances.

you can't rule out pregnancy either, birth control isn't 100 percent effective. also, those high stress situations may have a large impact on that

Ask your Gyn about it. What you're experiencing is unusual.
