C'mon Darth, you need to get over it and move on with your life.
What's done is done, as tragic as it was...my suggestion, think about his daughter Bindy and look at how well she's already begun to carry on his legacy.

The time has come to end the grieving and begin the celebration of his life and what it was all about...wildlife preservation.

I often ask myself the same question. I grew up watching him on TV, we even have a cat named Crikey. Steve Irwin was the one who made me love reptiles, now I have two snakes. He was truly an amazing man who will forever be missed in the hearts of those who knew the good he did. It hit me so hard when I heard he had died, I broke down crying like I had lost someone in my own family. He was such a sweet loving person you couldn't help but love him. The animals of the Australian Zoo have lost the best friend they'll ever have. RIP Steve, we will never forget you!

Yo darlin'
The big guy would not be wanting anyone to get "hung up" over his passing !! He was a go out and get it done kind of dude !! And, that's what he would have wanted for YOU --
If you have a drive to "do something" ---put together a research paper on his life---start an incredibly huge blog on the subject ---get in touch with his other fans and / or family and leave your feelings in a message or two----But----you have to move on---it is not a healthy thing to hold to grief --- it will harm you !!!

it started out about the crocs now it seems its more about the Erwin name and legacy. Bindi should have a normal childhood, then decide at 18 what she wants for herself, at 8 all she does is show up and it is already all done for her, of course. Look; Erwin liked animals and he had the ability to make a name for himself, he was a showman. Nice guy but a showman,
ever hear of George Adamson? he was a man who lived amoung lions for many, many years, they loved him, and no big fanfare or glory for George either. in the end it was humans who killed him, after living with wild beasts for years.
