I thought it was all about the best for the country but now it is all about winning. Nobody seems to care what is best for us anymore.

When corporate money and the military industrial complex and war profiteers came into the election politics and lobbying efforts. It corrupted the entire system and made it about the corporations & war profiteers, for the corporations and by the corporations. You take those elements out of the picture and you'll have your democracy back.

It's human nature to want your 'team' to win, even if your team is made up of crooks. That's why over 95% of the people who vote choose either a Democrat or a Republican.

The media in every form....the spin of politics....the gestures, looks, and actions of the candidates....the power struggles for their 15 minutes of fame...and the dishonesty of the corporations who put their money in the wrong places....
