I've noticed so many girls absolutely ADORE Cristiano. Yet, most of them don't even watch. Personally, I'm a huge fan of his, but I've been watching and playing football since I was born, and I'm Madeirense, we both come from the same hometown.. he's a big hero for us.
But why do girls just ADORE him? Is it SOLELY for his looks? Because if so, that's kind of sad... so, if youre a fan, explain why!

by the way, if you dont even WATCH football and just adore him, dont even bother posting anything here. And just because youve seen one game, you can't call yourself a football fan.

Yeah, I get that hes good looking, I'm not blind. I admit I find him extremely attractive but a part of that comes from the fact that he plays football and hes from Madeira. I don't get how girls can simply adore him for his looks alone.. just hard for me to believe. If I think a footballer is good looking, I'll point it out but not like the Cristiano fangirls who defend him and act like they really know football... when really, they don't. Or when they gush about him. That alone is enough to make me NOT be like them

Yeah.. if Cristiano left, I'd still be a red devil. I'd watch him and his team, because he's pretty much my favourite player of our generation, but I'd remain a red devil fan (if he moved to another epl team). If he was to move to La Liga, I'd want him to be with Valencia (thats my team) but if he played for Barca, I'd probably follow them.

i like Cristiano Ronaldo because he is the most skillfull player imo. watching him play is always exciting. he is a smart player, he is fast, his shots are powerful, his passes are accurate, everything he does with the ball is amazing. he is passionate when he's on the pitch and so am i. he is the best footballer of the world imo.
i really cant understand how some girls call themselves a true fan or whatever. and claim they love and adore him and they want to marry him. wtf. i mean, most of them have never even seen him play for 5mins. Ronaldo is a footballer so if theres a reason someone should be a fan of his is becuase of his football skills. not because of his looks, he is no model. besides how can you say you love him when you haven even met him? what if personally he's a complete asshole and has the most unbearable temper ever?? being HOT for him doesnt mean you love him, ok? there's a big difference.
and whoever said that if a footballer is good looking it makes the game more fun. you clearly have no love for football and know nothing about it. football is NOT about looks. its about skill. if you put 22 hot guys that cant even make a propper pass on a pitch the game is going to be fun? yeah.. that's what i thought.

That is so refreshing to hear. I don't think you find too many that can be objective about him. Gosh you get thumbs down all over the place if you even give a well supported view unless it's 100% pro Ronaldo. I have nothing against him bar the fact that he dives far too much and far too easily for me, but so do others. He is very talented, without doubt, but you are correct that people gush over him without mentioning his play or acknowledging areas of his game he needs to improve on or adjust. I support Man U and I get so peeved when I constantly read oh I love Man U because of Cristiano etc . Good Lord they are bigger than him alone. I wonder how many will still love Man U when he's gone. Not many, I'll bet.

yes, for many girls it is based solely on his looks and i don't know why u have such a problem w/ it. he is a great player and has an amazing talent and in addition to that he's got his gorgeous looks - and that last part just fuels his popularity among the female fanbase.
speaking on behalf of many women, i can say that u don't have to be a football fanatic to spot a goodlooking guy on the field, but if a footballer happens to be hot, it just makes the game that much more fun.

im female and i'd still be a united fan is ronnie boy leaves. and mind u, i worship ronaldo. yes yes... becuz he's good looking, thats definitely a reason. but also becuz of his talent. i loved him since he started for mu, loved watching him grow into the player he is today. he use to be very greedy and selfish with the ball, making me wish i was in OT so i kick his butt for being such a prick. but lately... look at his form! 15 goals and... issit 8 assists?? thats fantastic!! and just seeing how barca and real are being linked to him goes to show how great he is! And he's great with penalties tooo!! (not to mention winning them.. *ehem* - controversial - haHaa)
but sincerely i feel soOoo proud becuz i stuck with him since the first day he became a red devil (i was a united fan before he even signed) and despite people criticising him, and telling me that he's not half as good as beckham, i can proudly say today that he's definitely gonna be one of the bestt footballers in history! just look at his speed and his determination! He got me all awed!
i hope he doesnt leave the club, becuz him and rooney are gonna be awesomeee in man utd! and we're soOOo gonna win the premiership this season!!! WOO HOOO!!

he's not my favorite player in the world and i don't adore him.am a united fan and, he's a united player he's been great this season that is the only think i like about ronaldo he's a good player who is cumming on Strong as a Young boy, as for his looks i have seen more hot people than that, i don't think he's cute or ugly.he's just another person if you ask me.

He just looks like a nice guy who tries to do his best and is misunderstood by some of the fans from opposite teams. He is a talent, still learning and improving, I love his enthusiasm for the game always making his out-most effort. He is so young making his dream come true, to become one of the best players. I admire his desire to win and make goals. His driving force, energy it's kind of contagious! That's the way I perceive it!
He's gone through so much, even when his father died he still displayed the desire and passion for the game. It's no wonder he's in one of the best teams! Plus, the bonus of his looks, we are not blind! He is quite a man gorgeous!

Cristiano is my favorite player...I watch Man. U..only because of him...When he is not on the field, I turn off the tv, or change the channel...
Yes, he is darn good-looking, I'll admit...
So to answer your question....
I adore C Ronaldo because he is such a great player...his skills are phenomenal...I am at awe watching him dribble the ball...and those crosses...what can I say...he is the best...
And he's Portuguese....
