There are some that are not in "mint" condition since they were circulated. However I have a few that look like they were never cirulated. Is it even worth looking into what they are worth?

Yes it is, silver dollars minted between those dates were struck at different mints and may have a mint mark on them. It is located on the eagle side at the bottom below the wreath. There are a few that are rare or scarce. See a coin dealer, or go to two of them and see what they say. Maybe a coin club in your area can help, see more than I member, or go to a meeting for help. Most coin dealers are Honorable people especially if they have a store and it has been there for a long time. Keep away from antique dealers and pawn shops.

i think that the dollar coins you speak of are Morgan silver dollars if so they were made from 1878-`1921. 1882 is worth about$ 20.00,
1889 is worth about $22.00
