Two words come to mind: artistic pervert

I suppose what might be inspiring about him is his absolute audacity. He's a bit too nihilistic for me, now, though. When I first read him, I was quite impressed. I'm in a much happier phase in my life now.

Sorry to say but my dad was right.
"A load of crazy filth".
Someone said Miller was like a guy he remembered in baseball always shouting "I got it! I got it!" and always fumbling the catch. "In Miller's case, 'I got it!' refers to two things: a penis, which he probably has, and genius, which he certainly does not have."
Also: "the archetypal ignorant American tourist".

Personally, his plays bored me in college but I was able to see past that and recognize his talent.
