That depends on the person. Personally, I find the equally interesting and equally OLD. That's right, they are both about the same age. Also, there's a difference between Egyptology (the study of Egypt and Norse Mythology, the study of the Mythology of the Norse People). Or did you mean Norse Mythology and Egyptian Mythology? In that case, Egyptian Mythology because of one fact. They were for the most part, part animal. In some way, I see this as the Egyptians way of bring Man and the Animals into "harmony" by making them almost equal. By making Gods part of each, bring man and animal into equilibrium. To show they are equal, man is part animal and the animals are not far from man. Just a thought.

I prefer Norse mythology, but Egyptology is still interesting.
Egyptology just seems so...exotic. Like it is from a different realm, or something. It's interesting, but I would rather hear about the Norse.
The Norse mythologies seem to make more sense to me. I have Norse blood, way way back, but not Egyptian at all, that I know of. I don't know if the last has anything to do with this or not, but it might.

It's all a matter of opinion yes. I've always been fascinated with egyptology. I was introduced to norse and that was interesting. But for me, egyptology was my favorite. I love the stories and the symbols and the fact that they have animal heads. It's unique to me and just makes it seem more...mystique.

I like both equally. Norse mythology simply because it is my heritage and there are so many things going on at once when it comes to Norse Mythology. And, for some reason, I seem to have this pull towards Egypt, an undeniable interest, a seemingly inquenchable curiosity for it...I dunno, I can't explain it...I have had the curiosity since I was a little girl, for both of them really...

Mythology Because there's various things happening, Several Stories to discuss how it came about, and who made the myth.
Egyptology can get kinda Boring becaue it's all about Egyptian people and Facts and I know each Tomb is different But they're all tombs, and I think I just have more Fun Imagining the Mythology Stories then Egypt stuff.

I personally enjoy norse mythology more. However, norse mythology was more orally passed down, so most has been lost. The idea of so many different worlds (i.e. world of giants, elves, dark elves, & dwarves) existing among three catagories is awesome.

Ice and axes against Fire and intrigue. Why choose, as between the two you learn of a large spectrum of thought and actions that we shy away from in this day and age.
