Ok, i have medium to deep brown eyes. I wanna make em pop! i have been using charcoal black eyeliner but that seems to tone down the eyes and make them appear smaller so i need some help with an eyeliner color that is right for my eye color. Thank you! Oh and i have fair skin and small lips.

Hi there! I would try a shade or two lighter than your eye color. Maybe a soft, blended smoky look with striking black mascara. A little blue always brings out the brown sultry eye color. Maybe a touch on the outside of the eyes. I wish that I could see it!

Just asked this question of my Mary Kay lady. Turns out, getting your eyes to pop is a function of eye shape + eyeliner + eye shadow. I have small eyes (green) and she recommended a sable brown liner used only on my upper lid, not lower. Eyeliner on upper and lower can make your eyes look smaller. Then use the color you would pick for your eye shadow "crease" and put it lightly along your lower lid lashes. Use a lighter eye shadow on your eyelid and right under your eyebrows.

Blue eyeliner is good to make them pop. If you want to be subtle, line your eyes with black eyeliner. Just use a little and line on the outside, not the inside part of the lash line. If you line on the inside, it makes your eyes look smaller.

To accentuate the gold flecks in your brown eyes, try a dark, plum purple eyeliner. It will look softer than black, and will also add a little interest. If you use purple, though, make sure to keep the rest of your eye makeup pretty neutral- no bright blue!

Try using sables or brown eyeliners or if you want them to pop even more use colors that you normally wouldnt wear like greens and violets but only if your wearin something that color and not neon looking eyelines. Have fun!

MAC has really cool liners and great colors. I would suggest going for a dark purple or dark green liner in the pencil form. I love them and they are fun to use and yet practical and go with everything. Have fun!!
