NO! i do not like either i love the Chargers but Bears should of won. If the Colts would not of had Peyton Manning or Marvin Harrison they would of lost those are the two players the Colts need to win. They suck without them.

Okay I have read several questions on here and in turn have read several idiotic answers. Normally I just laugh at the poster's ignorance and move on. However, there are a couple on this one that are near the top of the idiotic answers and really need replied to.

1st - ATVKID - "If the Colts would not of had Peyton Manning or Marvin Harrison they would of lost those are the two players the Colts need to win"

This I think by far is the most ignorant answer I have ever read. So what your saying is if you take 2 future first-ballet HOFers off of a team they wouldn't be as good. Gee ya think - man I'm glad you clarified that. The question is did they deserve to win the Super Bowl? Your answer has no where even comes close to addressing that question.

Now if the questions was if you switch the rosters around on all of the teams which one would be better? Then I could see that as a plausible answer to possibly the stupidest question of all time.

2nd - Kingtwist - not nearly as idiotic as ATVKID but still pretty far out there - "NO! It was raining and the whole was sloppy. The Bears should have won, they could have won, they would have won, but they didn't"

Now it appears you are probably a Bears fan that is pretty disappointed with the result of the game which is understood. But did you forget that the Bears are used to playing outside in the elements? Did you forget that Peyton is well known for being a MUCH better QB in a dome? You can say that the weather is what caused a couple bad exchanges for the Bears. I would bye that if it wasn't for the Bears normally playing out in the elements. The Colts had no problems and again they play most of their games and have most of their practices in a dome. The only true reason for this is the Colts have a much better QB/Center combo.

Now to answer the actual question.

Of course the Colts deserved to win. The AFC was by far the best division in the NFL this year. There were easily 3 teams in the AFC that were better than all of the NFC teams and you could make an argument for a 4th. I think the Bears had a great year and really overachieved with a sub-par QB but the only chance they had to win the Super Bowl is if Hester ran 3 kick offs back for TDs. The only way the NFC would have had a chance to win the Super Bowl is if NO would have beat the Bears.

the colts deserving to win, i think so. But if i wasnt sure, Id just ask myself if the Bears deserved to lose, and the answer to that is most definitely yes.

i think that whoever manages to win the Super Bowl..or any other game for that matter..deserves it!!

people can always say..the bears should have won..if only it wasnt raining..they could have won with another 5mins of playing time..but the truth is, when the time runs out, the team with the higher score deserves the win

Yes, so we can stop hearing about how good Peyton Mannings is supposed to be. He won the Super Bowl now move on to someone else.

Yes. They were the better team to begin with. The Bears never really showed any offensive promise throughout the game.

Do they expect Devin Hester to return 2 to 3 back for touchdowns?

are you stupid? i don't that as an insult, i mean sports wise are you challenged?

Yes.. they did.. hands down.

They beat their opponents fair and square, wore them down fast specially the Bears D in the big game. PLUS with a QB like Rex Grossman dont' expect them to win the big one. Colts = 2006-2007 NFL Champions, well deserved
It's about time Manning, way to bring it home.
