a pH close to neutral is probably the optimal pH for pancreatin. While stomach enzymes, such as Pepsin, have low pHs around 2-3 as thier optimal pH, when the acid chyme reaches the intestine, it is neutralized by bases. Pancreatin is then secreted into the small intestine.
