Stovepipe is for venting exhaust from a fireplace. :) If you're talking fashion I would say that that it it is a REALLY long turtle neck. Ha ha!

a stove pipe is a type of hat. much like the one lincoln would wear, tall and flat at the top with a brim. and stove pipe pants are not skinny jeans they are jeans with a very wide leg.
