If you are talking religious ways, that a man should not lay with a woman during her uncleanness (period). There is no reason why your husband cannot not hold you during the menstrual cycle also. You can lay with a man and not do anything with him. If you want to comfort yourself and really feel deeply about the religious part. Grab one of his shirts, that he has worn, and hold it close to you. Smell it and love his scent and before sleeping think of the how great your man is and how much you miss him. You will stop having the night terrors. Your question was a bit vague, I just answered it from the question you gave and still remained respectful.

I am not sure what you mean by uncleanness. If you are having nightmares, its from a spirit of fear from which you need to be delivered from, not because you need to be he;d by a man at night. You would need someone from your church to pray for you. If you are not a church member, the only other thing you can do is say these scripture outloud at night before you go to bed, to stop the nighmares from coming: john 14:27, psalms 91:11, and levitus 26:6.

Um, I can guess these are good ideas:
1) eat kettle corn before bed, with a smoothie! I don't know why it is good. Eat them IN bed.
(yeah, sounds funny, but it tastes good, and cool. By the way, make sure it's a fruit smoothie made in YOUR blender.)
2) Sleep under 2 blankets. A really thin throw and whatever you put on top. What you do is um, you, um, hold the seam of the end of the throw, with your hand under, grasping it.
3) Hug a pillow! It's just like a person. Be sure It's a firm one.
4) If you want to feel tight, tighten your bra or put a folded tissue in your bra. Seriously it feels good. I know...you're thinking "weird" but, just do it. Really!
5) If you don't already, sleep with one pillow under your head, and one balancing on the headboard. Keep a sweater above your head.
6) I think you're already thinking "weirdo!" but, the next on is preferrable. I don't do it, but someone said so, so don't blame me..............................
Keep your period-once-a-month big thick pads on at night. And don't put pants on. NOPE! No pants. Just a big underwear!

HUH??? Why do you have to sleep alone at this time??? Why would he do this to you? this is just plain mean. My husband sleeps with me during this time and why in the world are you seperated and in seperate beds? Seems to me like he does not love your during this time and he does not care. How rude!!!! He really needs to be with you in the same bed when you are going through this. I think your marriage needs help. I am not saying have sex i jsut mean he is to be by your side and not abandoned you through it. He also needs to make sure you have medicine if you are in pain too.

A trick with nightmares is to plan ahead to defeat them. Whatever you are dreaming, plan to conquer. When the scary events happen, imagine a hole that they drop into; vanquish them with a sword. They're your dreams, become the winner in them.
Also, how about getting a small dog or cat to keep you company?

I don't understand why you don't sleep with your husband every night, most wives do. I guess leave a light on and don't eat just before bed time. Say a little prayer to God asking him for sweet dreams.

You may try sleeping with a shirt he has worn. You could put it over or near your pillow. His scent will be on the shirt and it should help comfort you while you sleep. I did this when my husband was away, it helped tremendously.

When you go to sleep try wearing a shirt that he has recently worn. It might sound nasty but when I worked nights my ex would put on one of my dirty shirts just so she could smell my scent. It worked for her, gave her the feeling that I was there.

The mind is a funny thing, if you think something enough it will become. It is just going to take some time and in the future you will look back and think how silly it was :-]

Do you have a stuffed animal that you can hold? Use a night light also. Soft music before you fall asleep helps.
