Democrats have not stopped Bush. The surge of troops started today. And yes what a wonderful job he has done while our economy booms for the rich and supresses the poor, terrorists are at all time new numbers and the division between us is down to pure hatred.

The Dems won't let Bush do his job because they have hated the fact that the Republicans have won the presidency for 2 terms. They are sore losers and bad sports. And the Democrats want to make sure that the 08 presidential election goes their way so they will stop at nothing to make sure that at every turn they will make Bush look bad. They are manipulating the media and the public to become part of their propaganda machine. They lie, cheat and flip flop or whatever it takes to destroy this administration's image so that they can get the upper hand with the votes.
What is sad is that they are actually hurting our country. We are at war, like it or not, and our enemies are evil and ruthless terrorists. The truth is in the saying:"United We Stand & Divided We Fall". If the people don't stop fighting amongst each other and start unifying behind this president who is trying his best for sure, we all just might very well end up a a terrorist controlled nation and we will lose all of our freedoms.

it is a panacea to each and each and every of the white those who look to imagine the cop did no longer some thing incorrect.apparently white law enforcement officials were racially profiling black adult men so long that that is basically ideal now. What a load of BS! The pig grow to be a jerk...a potential mad and probably racist jerk and he must be castigated, no longer rewarded with a visit to the White domicile at taxpayer fee. If it is all that is going to go back to this Obama will be more beneficial advantageous off forgetting it altogether and passing some more beneficial time on the health care Plan...this continues to be in want of dissimilar paintings to make it advise some thing in any respect.. All this is going to "prepare" the country is that even in 2009, with a guy of colour in the White domicile, that is nonetheless ok for a white cop to unfairly purpose a black guy...and no justice will be done. Obama has rolled over. Ever the populist, he's more beneficial frightened of alienating his non black base than doing the right aspect. i wager he figures he has ultimately moved previous the point in his existence the position this may take position to him ever again...and screw the different black guy. I basically desire Professor Gates sticks to his note and refuses to resolve the problem till he receives an apology.

Actually the Democrats cannot w/o impeaching him stop him from doing his job. He was elected to be our president. His job is clearly defined in the Constitution. The jobs of the Legislature and the Court are also defined. Each one has specific responsibilities and specific checks and balances on the other branches of government. He may not be able to get the Dems to agree with him, but his job is still his to do until 2008.

Why don't you stop listening to your retarted parents and read a book on the political system of the US. The legislative branch serves as the checks and balances for the executive branch. Little Georgie Bushman and the republicans have run this country into the ground in his 6 years in office. This behavior prompted the voters around the country to replace republican senators and represntatives with democrats. This was the will of the people.

Most likely because the American people decided on Election Day that the Democratic Party should lead both houses of the Congress. The voters decided that to limit the President's authority.

Years ago we rebelled from such blind devotion when we signed the Declaration of Independence to save ourselves from the taxing British. Everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it is "wrong." I never knew that acquiring oil and killing young boys fresh out of high school was part of the president's job description. I wish the Democrats could stop him from doing that.

Because of the elections coming up. They didnt start backtracking until they had to announce they were in the running. Make sense now?? It does to me. They have to make the other guy look bad to make themselves look better, and they dont care how that effects America in the middle of a war.

"Why will the Democrats not allow Pres. Bush to do his job?"
Because his 'job', apparently, is to do the bidding of the oil companies and the military industrial complex. And that's not even the job conservatives elected him to do. It's certainly not the job that Democrats want him to do.

Since, King George is the infamous "Decider" he doesn't have much to fear from a Democratic-controlled Congress. How can we keep him from dictating to the rest of us? It could be part of the "check and balances" in the United States Constitution, which George Bush swore to uphold, preserve and protect. Of course, he has done a shabby job of keeping this solemn oath.
For the record, blindly following anyone is poor decision-making from any person's perspective.
