No not at all. Cory Catfish and smaller plecos would be ok, but many cafish are predetors and would just feed off the guppies. If you like a particular catfish, you might want to google the name and read up on it before you buy.

Heck no! Many catfish are night predators. Generally the only compatible catfish you'll see in the stores are cory cats, and small breed plecos.

PS- If you look a catfish's whiskers you cab tell how it feeds. Bottom feeders have downward facing ones, and predators have outward facing ones.

alot of cats eat other fish and they are nocturnal so it is pretty easy for the cats to catch them in a tank. Certain Amazon cats can even reach 5 to 6 feet in length. There are some great choices that will not eat guppies: cories, some loaches, plecos.

Most any of the corydoras would be a fine choice because it is rare indeed to find one with a mean streak in him.-----you sure don't want anything that would 'rough-up' your guppies.

not all are but you'd be safe with any of the corys
