"Sit back, relax and enjoy the flight" seem ironic?

Sit back... if you don't have a heavy set person behind you who needs the leg room, relax...and don't think about the fact that there could be terrorists on board or that if there is a complications your falling from the sky to certain death, enjoy the flight...starvation, because you know damn well they do what they can to not have to provide a meal, pressure, one bathroom with a toilet that could flush you to the outside, uncomfortable seats, small spaces, screaming kids, snoring passengers. So do I think its' ironic...yes.

no I dont think it is ironic. I have heard this phrase from family members, people at school, and well people all around me. I have heard this more then once. But its not always to sit back and relax to watch a fight..

I guess it depends what we are taking "flight" in. LIke if in a cannon and they said that then sure it would be ironic.
