and why do they use the term Leaf Nation? You do not hear Hab fans refering to themselves as "Canadien Nation" and they have won 10 Cups since 1967 Toronto has zip.

More importantly why do they think they've had the greatest players that ever played? The funny thing is that no one else in this country (I'm in Canada) even likes the leafs and no one even wants to see them win.

NO ONE is saying the Habs weren't a brilliant team.. but don't forget. when the Habs won it's last cup they wouldn't have won without Damphousse.. (AN EX LEAF)
I wouldn't say they SUCK.. I would say yeah.. they have awful management. they choose to pick goons rather than actual talent.. case in point.. they should have kept Owen Nolan.
They pick up the biggest goon Hal Gill.

Where does it say a person can't cheer for the Leafs just because they don't win all the time?
I don't get this anti Leafs thing. I would think more people would focus their hostility towards real goons and losers like the Rangers or Flyers..

the owners are making the money that's why and keeping all for them self. if the fans stop showing up maybe something would happen cause they will be losing money but as long as they keep the fans in the seats (that's why they keep getting older veterans past there prime to make money on merchandise) they will keep running the Leafs the same way. plus half the seats a corporate and they never show up to the games or they will go in the second period and then leave by the 3rd. business owner's buy season tickets in Toronto and give them to people that are there on business so the money keeps coming in.

It's because Hab fans doesn't have much creativity nor brains to begin with. Congratulations! You just proved that!! First off, it was '68, but since you're a Habs fan, we'll let that slide. you obviously haven't been paying attention to the news these days. the leafs have won five of their last six games. and "leaf nation" means that we leaf fans are united and we support the leafs forever. GO LEAFS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
