How do I get rid of bullies?

I'm having trouble with this kid at school and I am thinking about punching him but what else can i do to get him to stop

Well... let's see...... If you punch him you are going to look like the bad guy. The way the school system is today, you'll be the one in trouble and the other boy will have no punishment. I've seen it over and over and over again. Our society doesn't allow for children to defend themselves anymore. It's very sad but true. I can't help but think back to my younger years when I was picked on repeatedly. Not just me. My sisters and my brother also. We were poor growing up and kids were just plain mean to us. They bullied us. They hit us, ruined our bookbags, new shoes... anything you could imagine. My brother faught back and it just made it worse. So... my loving daddy came to our rescue. He asked us who the kids were. He found out who their parents were. He then paid a visit to their homes and nicely talked with the parents about the problem. One family was respectful and took care of the problem. The others did not. So my dad paid the others another visit. This time he meant business and let the fathers of the hateful kids know that if their children even looked at us (my brother, sisters and I) again then he was coming after him (the father of the bullies). Needless to say.... we never had another problem with any of them and actually became friends with some of them. Some people say that kids are cruel and kids will be kids. That's a bunch of bologna! Children are who the parents create. In a way my father did a kind thing by making sure those kids knew right from wrong. After all... their parents weren't teaching them. So my suggestion to you (even though I don't like violence) is to talk with your father and see if he'll handle it for you. It is very effective. At least it was when I was young. You can only avoid bullies so much but at one point you have to stand up for yourself. It happened to me when I was in my eight grade. This bully was bullying me for weeks and one day I decided that enough is enough. I gave him a bloody nose and then headlock him. We broke up the fight and ran when we heard that campus police was coming. I eventually got caught because of his blood on my shirt. I wrote two pages explaining what had happened. Even though I started the fight I did not get suspended. The other guy did. I never got bullied by anyone else after that.

I would suggest that you talk to your parents and your teacher. If confrontation can be avoided then do so but don't be afraid to push back. Never go into a fight when you know the other guy might have a gun or a knife.

If he starts the altercation, go to your local police department and file a menacing charge. Don't do anything in retaliation to him. Menacing is considered a misdemeanor, but getting the officials involved will stop him in his tracks. He may need punched. If your school personnel, however, after you told them about the problem, are not doing anything, take it to your local police department. Menacing, also known as harrassment. File a report if the kid won't stop. Tell your parents and if the bullying is too much then encourage filing a report with the police department, if the school will do nothing.

Take him on. You may want to get some friends also. He may bring his friends into it later. Joint locks are great for causing pain or doing a lot of damage. You should strike with an open palm not a fist. Hitting with a closed fist can break your fingers if you do it wrong. Hitting with the palm, the heel of your hand can hit just as hard. You did not say what the other kid is doing?
verbal or physical abuse ?
Harrassment ?
with physical abuse by all means defend yourself.
other wise try to stay away from the idiot and get some proof of what is going on.
I hate to go there but sometimes its necessary to change schools.

it's funny because usually when you confront them or punch them in the face try to pull their hair and then punch them in the stomach and then go from there. then that person won't bother you antmore thats what always happens and you won't have to worry about that person anymore, and you won't have any regrets not doing anything later in life. good luck.

i know ur not suppose to promote violence but the truely only way besides the legal way to get rid of a bully is to just beat one of them down so bad that they dont ever mess with u again. its so sad that in this day n age that ppl feel the need to pick on ppl. it makes me sick and mad.

Work out a lot and avoid them, ignore them. If your big people dont mess with you. I dont really know how bad the situation is. Maybe you should tell someone of authority if they are hurting you physically.

ignore him. i swear it works. when he passes by you lift your chin and dont make eye contact. keep your stance consistent and when he demands that you answer him, answer him with confidence.

dont punch him coz he'll definitely punch ur back. if he tries to hit you, or if he did punch you, try to take in the pain and walk away with confidence and as if nothin happens

ok dont freak but ur getting advice from a elementary school girl. i get this prob a lot and from my experience u should just ignore them. if u do they go away. its true. people always say that an no one rlly thinks it works but it does!!!
