It depends on who you ask. Some people think yes it is and that
the area which is haunted is the first class swimming pool. I am
not sure if that was ever proven to be true. Other people believe
that it does have to do with the special effects associated with
the ghost and legends tour. The ship has an extensive history to
it and you do feel as you walk the decks that your transported
back to the ship's hey day.

Hmmm... I've been on the Queen Mary several times. While it is freakishly easy to get lost on that ship, I've never encountered a ghost. The tour is designed to "spook" you and they have creatively placed cold air vents and stuff to make you question what you've seen and heard. Haunted? It depends on who you ask... there is a lot of history in that ship and it is very easy to envision the past while you are touring... or trying to find your way out.... getting lost on the ship is waaaaay scarier than any ghost that might exist!!!!

i was out there in 1982-83 and i dont remember much about it except that i accidently took part in a tv series that was being filmed on it that day "Tales of the Golden Monkey"
