There is one for XP but only XP PRO or Media Edition. IT is called Remote Desktop Connection. It is found under Programs/Accessories/Communications. This program works excellent i use it all the time. Now if you have the host PC as pro you can use a home edition to connect to it but not the other way around. To enable the feature on a Pro or Media Edition right click on My Computer go to the Remote tab and click the enable computers to connect remotely to this computer tab. Now all you have to do is forward the ports on your router. Now i am not sure exactly what ports you need to forward off the top of my head but i can let you know later if you email at chrislower@cbs-i.com
But like these guys said before the third part program will work with probably a little less headaches. LOL goodluck;.

I prefer to apply LogMeIn loose It would not cost something, and can pass ninety% of the firewall and router configurations. I additionally use this for 32 of our paintings desktops for container consumers.
