I'm thinking that if he was alive today, he'd be creating more music, (or producing for others). He might even tour with tons of energy that he would put the Stones to shame.
We already kinda know how he still influences music!!
Long live JH!

Impossible to tell... Nobody would have been such an influence that music would have taken a different route than what it did. Well... He could be a dinossaur by now, like so many are, which he, having been the greatest electric guitarist of all time, never deserved. He could be playing a regular blues number too, but I doubt it cause he was always much more than just the blues. Or... and I figure that's a possibility, he could be playing jazz and being a genius at it.

How WOULD he have? He DID. His guitar sang and the man could play it backward, forward, up, down, behind the back. He was a showman without be showy. I am not a fan of Prince, but there is NO doubt in my mind that Prince was influenced by Hendrix. Yes he'd be recording now. He was ahead of his time and no reason to think he still wouldn't be. Santana did it, so could have Jimi

Pointless question. If you could imagine what kind of music someone would make, you should be able to make it. The impact has already happened.
