I have a lambskin black leather coat. Since all the bad weather lately it has little spots on it. They look similar to water spots like your dishwasher may leave on your dishes. What is the best way to remove them?

Please do not use saddle soap it may do it a lot of damage.

If it is a lambskin with the wool still on it it will have to be treated like suede and also needs a good wterproofing protector on it to help stop this kind of thing happening. If you use saddle soap on this type of leather you will ruin it.

Saddle soap, which you should be able to find at walmart, then when dried, use mink oil to help keep the leather soft.

Saddle soap.
It makes the leather nice and supple, as well as cleaning it!
