i to have a whirlpool microwave and the light bulb burnt out after about a year and a half. Unplug the microwave before replacing light bulb. it tells you to do this somewher on the drop down. i found out the hard way that if you replac it plugged in you can blow the main circuit board. but as to the light bulb i bought one at lowes for 3 dollars and have been doing so every month for the last 6 months so thanks for the repair clinic address i will be buying a factory bulb soon.

The replacement bulb is designed for use in the harsh environment of a microwave whereas the cheap bulb is not.
Either use the real replacement bulb or use your microwave without the light, that's what I do.

Look for an appliance rated bulb at a hardware store. They are built in a more rugged manner and will withstand the vibrations better than a regular type. Otherwise if it uses a standard threaded base put in the cheap WalMart bulb, but you may find it needs replacement more often.

it really is a gentle bulb uncomplicated and reasonable. the least confusing purpose it lasts see you later because it does is as a outcome of the quantity of time it really is on. hit upon a thanks to live without or solid off the cupboard and substitute it. be particular to get the excellent bulb for that micro. be particular the clean bulb is tight. A free bulb will shortren it really is existence. Do now no longer disturbe the door. get rid of screws on again and bottom of the cupboard . it is going to slide again and up

You do not need a light bulb for your microwave. Let it cook in darkness. I have bought microwaves for about thirty bucks. In fact, the last one purchased by my girlfriend was thirty bucks at Frys in Calif.
