people act like there are only americans in USA, there are many different nationalities. And some people, who happen to live in the USA do care about football soccer, even if it's from other places in the world. European, italian, brazilian, you name it, other leagues, teams, countries have lots of foreign supporters from all over the world, including those in the USA! and I think fans should be happy and share the joy instead of bashing supporters enthusiasm!!!

Just because you don't live in Europe, it doesn't mean you can't root for the countries playing in the Euro 2008 qualifying. I'm an Asian living in the US but I'm very interested in the Euro 2008. There are also a lot of European football fans who already live in the US, specially New York where you can hear virtually every language in the world being spoken. I'm not surprised that they're showing it in New York. I'd be surprised if the show it in other US states where futbol is not as popular.
