i'm going through a really hard time right now thinking about my parents splitting up and since my mom doesnt have a job and we dont have my dad anymore we are on welfare, and i havnt told ANY of my friends. first of all i'm embarrassed, and i'm scared they will think less of me. && i dont know how i could tell them. i feel like i have NO ONE to talk to , its wierd to not have a best friend to tell things to?

I know how you feel, I don't have any "best" friends or anything like that.
If you feel you can't tell your friends your situation without them laughing or something like that, then they aren't your true friends... plain and simple.
And for the record not many people in this world get to expereince "true" friendship, so if you have it.... hoooray, but if not don't sweat it.
If you must get your feelings out, try keeping a journal, it really helps.
Sometimes your have to be your own best friend and there is nothing wrong with that!

First of all theres nothing to be ashamed of. These thing happen and things will start to get better soon. A best friend is someone who you trust completely and tell amost everything too. If you feel like ou cant trust them then their not your best friend. My best mate can tell when things are going bad or if I'm having a shitty day. So the fact that your friends dont know about your situation they cant be the brightest sparks in the box
