Is it possible to "divorce" or disown your parents if you feel bitter regarding your childhood?

Actually you can. I remember the pop singer Tiffany divorced her parents at 16 because her step dad got her mom drinking and i don't know what. It is possible, but it's most likely just as big of a legal pain in the butt as a marriage divorce, so it would probably be better to just wait until you're 18 (if you're not yet) and leave. After that, it doesn't matter. But it would still be better if you could make some kind of peace,though,because life's too short and you don't get many second chances.
