Ask a Kurd. They think Sadaam was a weapon of mass destruction. Ask a marsh arab, Sadaam drained the marshes that had been their homes for 4000 years. Ask Iranian soldiers, or Kuwaiti soldiers and their families. Oh yes, we found a major weapon of mass destruction.
Bush was wrong in say they were abundant, but he was acting on intelligence from others. As any president would. He could not go himself and check it out. Hillary and Diane and Teddy all went along with it, although they had the resources to check it out. So before you lay blame, look at the history of it.

You have to understand that these people are known for digging great tunnels underground there. Those weapons could very easily have been moved to anywhere they wanted to bring them, and without ever being noticed. Back when we had desert storm, around 1990, the same thing happened when we were trying to catch up with good old Momar Ghadafi too. Lots and lots of underground roads. I call them sand fleas(though I am not at all prejudiced against anyone at all), just because they can hide in the sand, much like a sand flea does. But, don't let your guard down just yet though, the weapons are there somewhere.

2. Conjecture that he shipped them to Syria and / or Iran before the US and allies invaded. Saddam had a little over a year to prepare as the Bush Administration went to Congress and the UN first before invading.

We gave them way too much time with all the stupid resolutions (17 of them over a period of 10 years) for them to move them all to Syria. George Bush #1 should have finished the job during the first gulf war. (You must remember that Iraq is only one battle in the war on terror. Radical Islam wants you and me dead, so we need to wipe them out first!)

It is the Democratic Party. They practice the politics of personal destruction any time they can.
Seriously, duh, WMDs WERE found. They were the old ones that everyone including Sen.Kerry KNEW they had. Poison gas, I think was the only one.
Everyone including Sen.Kerry thought they had others, maybe nukes. They acted like they had them. They swore they didn't, but wouldn't let the UN inspectors look where they thought they might be. The Iraqis moved something everytime the inspectors tried to look. After the war started, something was moved to Syria, maybe just gold, but maybe WMDs.
It doesn't matter, because EVERYONE thought they had WMDs besides the old ones they knew they had. Saddam was stupid in his way of dealing with the USA. I guess he thought Bush was just like Clinton. Oops.

they were a poor country that just got out of an 8 year war with Iran. that killed over a million people and devasted both countries and nothing changed. they still fight.
then they went to the gulf war, then they fought with Afganistan.
So their resources were pretty depleated. I am sure they wanted nuclear weapons but if they had them or could get them they would have used them. He used poison gas on the Kurds his own people.

My guess is that the ones we did not successfully destroy during Shock and Awe, were moved or sold to Syria or France-Syria has a large Baathist Party-most likely there!

Apparently, Saddam's good friends in Syria (as if) are holding them for Iraq. That is rather ludicrous.
