I believe that some people do know when they are going to die. Some just want to im mortalize their lives. My husband told me he feels as if he is going to die at the age of 30. We have been married for almost 10 years since he told me that. Thank goodness because I still love him very much.

I think somtimes people know. My Granddaddy was killed by a drunk driver and two weeks before he was killed he talked with my Daddy and told him where all the insurance polices were and took out extra accidental death benefits. He also ask him to take care of my Grandmother.

Also the morning he was killed he told my Grandmother while they were sitting at the table "We only have 30 minutes to be together".

I know of a guy that was planning on marrying his girlfriend after coming home from Iraq (his 2nd time there) and he started having bad feelings and he told her he had to marry her so that she could get his benefits. I think from talking to her she knew he wasn't coming home too. Then a girl that I met who'd just been in an accident that should've killed her was telling me she had cheated death and that she knew she was going to die soon. She was killed maybe three days later in another accident that also killed her brother (who had said that he felt like he was going to die soon too....and neither one of the accidents that she'd been in had been her fault so it wasn't that she just couldn't drive) I can think of a few more examples so yeah I KNOW some people know.

I know that my time is not now...and it is that knowledge, I believe, that has kept me alive through a series on incidences in the past few years. I am not careless, I just know it is not time for me to "let go" right now. I wear a bracelet that says "one world at a time".

I feel as though I will know when it is my time.

First I want to start off by saying that I am so sorry for your hurt and lost. My grandmother died in 1998 and she kept telling us that we needed to get ready... But she never told us why... So in my heart I think that when it is your time to go sometimes you do know and other situation you don't....

some people get the gift of knowing when they're going. They have the chance to tell the ones they love good-bye. I believe that she did know that she was going to, going on what you told me. She is one of the blessed few who can tie up her ends here on this plane. I believe that when people die, it is their time for enlightenment, and it is their time to learn the wonders of the world. She had the chance to tell people that she loved them. So take comfort in that fact.

They may have a feeling BUT they do not know for sure. No one really does. Only God above knows when our time is up. I really do not know when my time is going to be to die . I would much rather know God and be ready to go to heaven for eternity when i do die. This is what really matters. Are you ready for eternity? Where will you spend eternity?
