In the cancer section? So can you please answer this for me???? Is a biopsy only for people that might have cancer or can it be used to tell different things?????

No, a biopsy is a medical test involving the removal of cells or tissues for examination. So it can be used for all sorts of testing, not just cancer.

You can biopsy any living tissue in the body to test for thousands of things.

As far as I know, I biopsy is used to check for cancer...but I could be wrong. Have you tried WebMD?

its just a sample of your tissue to look at what you have not narrowed to just cancer
