I'd add a third day to the weekend, in between Saturday and Sunday, and call it Sitarday.
This would be the day for doing all those weird things you always think you might like to do, if only you had the time. I mean, Saturday, you're recovering from the week and doing mundane stuff like shopping and being a good friend or family member. Sunday's a day of rest and preparation for the new working week.
Sitarday would be the day when you had complete freedom to follow your longer-term and more esoteric goals - write that novel, compose that aria, learn to play the sitar or dance flamenco. A day of pure enthusiasm. How much more meaning would your week have then?

Well if they did add an extra day it would screw up the whole calendar since it takes 365 days for the earth to revolve around the sun. However, putting logic aside, I would like it to be called freeday. A day where you could work if you wanted to or do something you have never done, or just do nothing. It would not be part of the weekend. It would fall between Tuesday and Wednesday. The slowest part of the week. It would rejuvenate our spirits and give us a brief hiatus in the middle of the week. You could do whatever you want with it. You would not have to go to church, or go out and party, because the next day would be a work day. It would just be a day for you.

I'd put it after Monday and call it Noday. Because after Monday you want to be able to have a day to yourself were you can say No to whomever or whatever you want! Do you wanna go to work? No. Wanna clean the house? No.
