how can i become popular in school with out changing my personality? How can i make people like and respect me?

Don't worry what other people think... You will be most admired for being your own unique self. Don't change anything or worry about conforming to standards. Trust me. Once you go to your first class reunion and realize that its half the popular crowd who dropped outta college and got knocked up you will already feel like you fit in better.
Be yourself and smile a lot. Seriously. People are more apt to approach someone who looks happy and easy to talk to. Be comfortable within yourself.

Well.. I don't wanna brag, but I'm popular! Just start hangin' out with the popular kids, that's what I did. And that's not why.. some of my other friends were like... not good friends.. so now they're like my best friends! You don't have to change who you are, but just don't make a fool of yourself by getting in stupid quarrels with people. They'll respect you if you follow my advice.

Show confidence & be outgoing. You can do those 2 things & not change your personality.
