Stick to the basic math courses in High School, such as Algebra, Trig. In college, your math courses will be more advanced. You do know you will have to go to medical school, right?

You will need to take as much math and science as you can at your high school. Once you are in college you will also be taking math and science so the more you already have studied the better off you will be. I would recommend that you meet with the college counselor at your school and let them know you are interested in premed. they will be able to help you choose classes that will help you get into a good colleg program. Also ask about any AP or other advanced high school course work you might be able to take.

The best thing you can do is talk to a counselor at a college. They can provide you with a lot of information in how to go about pursuing this career field.
