i'm a translator and proofreader yet i do no longer superb human beings on the internet till asked to because of the fact people who're no longer linguistically minded do exactly no longer care, it rather is a waste of time, and it merely gets on their nerves. That mentioned, detrimental grammar, spelling, and punctuation is disturbingly familiar throughout the time of the internet, human beings see it, and, understanding not extra effective, reproduction it; and so the vicious circle is going on till detrimental English is the norm (if that is not any longer already). i might could give up my interest to superb each and all the blunders I see in an afternoon's surfing: this web site is crammed with blunders (no longer such because of the fact the intentional ones), as many from the preachers of advantageous grammar as from the defenders of illiteracy; the lack or overuse of the apostrophe being the worst (2 Weeks' observe or 2 Weeks observe? definite, even Warner Bros go incorrect, so what wish for the rest human beings?). And what is going to we do whilst even respected web pages like the BBC are rife with blunders? via ways, the spell examine is functional yet no longer ideal. I very almost positioned "particularly my interest" because of the fact my arms are continually racing forward typing user-friendly words in the previous my concepts reaches them to tell them what they could surely be typing. The spell examine does no longer have picked that up. It in all probability does no longer %. up all detrimental punctuation the two, e.g. the version between that is and its. This website is surely no longer that undesirable whilst in comparison with many boards i've got seen, so consistent with probability some tolerance could be exercised.

It is 'weird'.

To get the sound of 'ee', the rule is 'i before e, except after c'.
The exceptions to that rule are - weird, seize, counterfeit, caffeine.
