Can anyone recommend a movie that was based on real-life that had to do with the teaching profession or the public school system in America?

This does not count these movies: The Ron Clark Story, The Marva Collins Story, Music of the Heart. (FYI: Akeelah and the Bee was not based on real-life...although it seems like it could be)

I own all of those movies and none will count toward an assignment for a college class. Any ideas?

I don't know if this movie was based on a true story or not but it seemed mighty real to me.
The Emperor's Club with Kevin Kline. It's an unforgettable, powerfully uplifting story about the meaning of honor and integrity. It's a compelling and inspiring story about a revered teacher and the students whose lives he changed forever.
