I'm pretty sure that before you got married both of you knew your eating style, so he shouldn't try to change you now.
Maybe one day he'll change or you'll change your eating habits but not forcefully. Compromise and respect are essential keys for harmony in a marriage.

No, it's not fair on his part. Marriage involves compromise. I'd say it seems that you're already going out of your way cooking vegetarian meals most of the time. On nights when you feel like eating a non-veg meal, you should each prepare your own meal.

I say make your feelings and thoughts clear to your husband. but if your husband cannot comply then you just need to find a way to provide you own meat already cooked. just tell him not to throw it away since you dont' throw away any of his vegetables. it's pretty hard to get vegetairans to cook meat since they dont cook meat or eat it anyway. they may burn it. or under cook or over cook it. i lived with a vegetarian once and it was an educational expierence. cause my roomate at the time was very creative about selecting which non-meat foods that she would eat...and they were tasty. ..but i just say that if your husband cannot comply then you need to provide your own. ...just a thought...

Try out his vegeterian diet. maybe you'll like it too. There are also some really good fake meats that you can use in your favorite dishes. They taste good and are really healthy. you can find fake chicken, ribs, gardenburgers, veggiedogs, bacon, beef and just about any other meat. I love them. So give it a chance!!!

Tell him to shut up and eat his crusty veggies while you eat a chunk of cow! ***LOL*** Seriously...why the hell should you suffer because you're more of a man than he is? Cows are stupid and tasty...that's why we eat them. :)
