Because studies have shown that children who attend Pre-School prior to Elementary school tend to have a higher success rate.

Well actually America does it is headstart. But it is not universal it is for those who are economically disadvantaged. Increasingly there will be pressure for universal preschool. DA

No...public education is really lacking. Why spread it into the younger ages and make even more of a mess?!! Kids need to learn from their parents who will make time for them, and then attend a private preschool if they wish.

Yes I think it should. The children learn so much especially social skills.
