tell her frankly that it's illegal to have a teacher-student relationship and especially if it's a sexual one.. make her realize that shud they be caught, both of them wil be expelled and da reference frm school wont be at all good.. and this wil affect their future as well.. however, u have to make sure that the teacher did not respond to her advances.. if he does, tell ur principal or ur discipline master straight away.. or u can talk to anotha teacher and asked him/her to talk to the social studies teacher to avoid any inappropiate actions...

Tell her she is putting her teacher in a really awkward position. It is illegal for him to do anything that would resemble friendship or an relationship with her and he knows that it could cost him his job and land him in Jail (gaol - for the Aussies).
He has probably already informed the principal of the letter (as i would do as I am a teacher) because that covers his but and assures the school that he is not keeping anything from them or involved with this child in any way...
Tell her those things - maybe she'll be embarrassed enough about how many people have seen her letter to stop with the harassment of this poor man.

Do a google search of all the teachers who got busted doing that kind of thing and ask her if she wants her teacher to be in jail like all the rest of them. Chances are though that her teacher has enough sense to keep it in his pants. For the most part, teachers become teachers because they have some sort of intelligence. Let's hope he's one of them and we don't see him on the evening news!

Ask her if she went through with it, if she did, then you have a decision on your hands. To rat out the teacher or not. Try your best to convince her how wrong this all is. Whatever you do, don't go the principal unles you have proof that he did the deed with her.
