What business should I be searching for specifically and how much do they charge?

A lot of colleges have offices or services to help students with career development-type things. The services are usually free to the students but they might be able to help people in the community as well.

Sometimes temporary employment agencies offer aptitude testing and other career services.

A lot of public libraries are starting to offer free classes on career development as well.

List your qualifications in the newspaper and what type of work you are looking for. See if you get an answer.

Unemployment offices have lists of jobs available. Maybe one would be suitable for you.

How about some sort of temporary service that hires on a temporary basis?
